Destination Bermuda

The 1609 saga of the wreck of the Sea Venture in Bermuda waters inspired William Shakespeare's "The Tempest".  In those days, Bermuda was known as the isle of demons.  Imagine yourself on a wooden sailing ship attempting to navigate the treacherous coral reefs that surround the island while from the uninhabited shores you could hear the haunting cries of the cahow bird.   It's no wonder that sailors tried to avoid this "isle of enchantment".

Only a two hour flight from the east coast of the United States, Bermuda is a perfect jewel in the mid-Atlantic that is, indeed, "another world".
