"I'm Telling You"...

• John Lennon spent quite a bit of time in Bermuda.
• There is a flower in the Botanical Gardens called Double Fantasy that inspired the title of a Lennon album.
• Tennis originated in Bermuda.
• Bermuda's official drink is a "Dark 'n Stormy", made with Goslings Black Seal Rum and Barritt's Ginger Beer.
• Bermudian Patrick Singleton has participated in the Winter Olympics in both luge & skeleton.  Patrick marched into Olympic Stadium in Salt Lake City wearing Bermuda shorts.
• Bermudians traditionally fly kites on Good Friday.
• Bermuda was mentioned in the classic film, "It's a Wonderful Life".
• Bermuda hosted College Weeks beginning in 1933 through the 1980s.  At its peak, more than 10,000 students would converge on the island for their spring breaks.  It was definitely where the boys (and girls) were!
• Tiny tree frogs come out and sing after a rain shower.
• Harvard University's Hasty Pudding Club has been performing each spring in Bermuda for 40 years.
• Traditional Sunday breakfast in Bermuda is codfish & potatoes.  Delicious!!
